"In the midst of movement and chaos, keep stillness inside you." -Deepak Chopra- When the dust settles after a major change in lifestyle, it can be difficult to emotionally bounce back. Experiencing and existing in a low energetic state can make us feel stuck, as though we're treading in a tar-pit. We can either choose to rescue our minds out of that tar-pit and experience more happiness, or choose to resonate in a lower energetic state only to experience anxiety, stress, fatigue and fear. Does this sound possible? Absolutely this is possible, we all have the freedom to choose. It may be necessary at times to go to a lower level, but the idea is to choose to go there and spend the necessary time in that space. When this pandemic hit, we all experienced some level of stress and anxiety. So how do we start elevating our energy to experience more happiness? Think of this in terms of personal leadership, focusing on the things which are in your control. Take in a deep breath, exhale and begin redirecting your thoughts to what you are grateful for. Take the time you need, you owe it to yourself and deserve to release stress, anxiety, and fear. Practicing gratitude immediately begins to generate an internal calm, a peace to which slows time down. Embody a win-win attitude, formulate behaviors and ways to include where everybody wins. Not only does this level of compassion raise your energy, it feels good to help others and when your are feeling good you are experiencing happiness. Just be you! You are your own unique self, share your talents and gifts. Give yourself permission to be yourself. Releasing judgment from our own minds creates a space of comfort and joy. You will create meaning in the actions you take. Your values will not be compromised which enables us to lead a purposeful, happier life. Like energy attracts like energy, surround yourself with people who support and build on your growth. In these relationships conversations are held without judgment, and the competition of ego is non-existent. Imagine having those deep meaningful, enriched, fulfilling conversations. These are all elements which we control, by placing our focus here, you are choosing to shift your energetic levels to a space to which you will experience more happiness and joy.
