"It never troubles the wolf how many sheep may be."-Virgil-
We all experience fear, it is instinctually imbedded in hour biology. Fear, when it sets in, surfaces to keep us safe. Coming face-to-face with a grizzly bear during a hike, walking up on a snake crossing your path, or even passing through a violent part of town activate those instincts of fear; however this is not the type of fear that I am going to discuss in this post. The kind of fear that I am going to discuss is the type of fear that prevents us from making the progress in life that we want.
Remember, fear sets in to protect us from harm, and keep us safe. When we sense this coming we have the tendency to talk ourselves out of creating the change that we want in our lives. Many people will stay in a toxic relationship in the fear of being alone, in a job that they hate in the fear of not being able to make it somewhere else, selling themselves short in the fear of scaring the client away, not speaking their mind or creating the life they want in the fear of being judged; the list can scroll on.
Loneliness, change, vulnerability, risk, negative self-image, tough conversations, and scarcity mindset are all elements that can activate a fear-based thought process. Our fears begin with a thought, which have an energetic consequence, and usually this consequence leads toward inaction. This fear grips it's teeth into you enabling you to abandon your dreams, remain in that toxic career or relationship, and avoid any element of change. So, how do we breakthrough the barrier of fear?
When you start scrolling fear-based thoughts in your mind, ask yourself what the truth in those thoughts are? How does this thought prevent my growth? You will soon find that these thoughts hold no truth, and it is your inner-critic keeping you in your mythical safety net. Raising awareness to these thoughts and redirecting them toward what is true, will not only create a new script in your mind, but creates the clarity to move forward.
Clearly identifying those fear-based thoughts is a paramount step in facing your fears. This is the first courageous step in achieving and creating the life that you want. It doesn't stop here though, you can begin to move forward with a little more ease and grace. Trust yourself, trust the process, know that you are fully capable, good enough, and are an unstoppable warrior spirit. Reframing your self-image into a positive self-image reveals your infinite power, gifts, and talents that the world is ready to embrace. Viewing yourself in a higher self will aid in the transition of personal judgment to a place of acceptance; in this state of being you have the ability to take action, and take action from a place of clarity.
When you change your mindset, your life begins to change. Adopting an abundance attitude will free your energy from the scarcity mindset, here you can challenge self-doubt and tap into your true creative self. Releasing self-doubt allows you to see opportunities, and become more engaged in the life that you want to live.
You deserve to live as the best version of yourself!
