"Change is the only constant" -Heraclitus It's December! The days are shorter and the nights remain longer. As we approach the end of the year, we may find ourselves in deep reflection, pondering the past twelve months. What were your "up's" and what were your "downs" in this past year? What are you holding onto to which no longer serves you? There is reason why we feel the way we do, especially around this time of year. Consider change, as the seasons transition from the renewal of spring, through the invigorating life of summer, completing the cycle in winter; this amazing Earth does one thing very well, she let's go of the old only to prepare for a new beginning. How many cycles of change have occurred in your life? The fact is we change, gain new experiences, and learn through our struggles. When we reflect on these past twelve months, we are actually processing change, and when we honor this process we begin to identify what is the "old". Perhaps the "old" is a behavioral pattern, unhealthy relationships, unsatisfying careers, or even an academic change in direction. How would it feel to let go of the old and embrace a new beginning? Most people wait until the actual new year begins to start creating a new beginning; however, with the power of reflection, you can begin building these blueprints of the "new you" now. Imagine rolling into the new year already on a stable pathway! This act of self-care is completely internal, but does take raising awareness, and truly letting go of what is anchoring you only to propel you forward in your desired direction. This is your amazing life! Make it happen and live as the best version of yourself. Super Awesome Stuff! Jeff Saal CPC, ELI-MP Are you curious about coaching?
