Anytime we have thoughts of self-doubt, we fuel the scarcity mentality.
We all have had or have moments of self-doubt, and we talk ourselves out gaining new experiences because of the powerful hold self-doubt has on us. When I talk about scarcity I am talking about how we view ourselves. We may not view ourselves as capable of achieving something great, or judging and comparing ourselves to others. So how do we defeat scarcity?
I can't stress enough about how raising our awareness is key to making effective change in our lives. The first thing is to do is identify what buttons are being pressed when we start doubting ourselves; what was the circumstance or thought that activated that button? When we clearly identify that trigger point, we begin raising awareness, we also have a much clearer choice rather than choosing to lean into our doubtful thoughts.
Challenge those doubtful thoughts, we can crush scarcity by replacing it with an abundance attitude. I wrote a blog on abundance, you can find it by click here. Our internal judgments only have as much authority as we give them, and when we agree with our doubtful thoughts we relinquish our authority. Take your authority back! Press against self-doubt with knowing that you are capable, your are completely unique, you have gifts that the world is ready to receive. This is replacing the scarcity attitude with an abundant attitude.
