Success Is In The Journey.

That space between our goal and what we do today is where the magic happens.
How do you measure your success? Some of us associate success with final achievement, arriving at the destination. I am not saying that there is no truth in this concept of success; however, when we place one hundred percent of our focus on the actual destination, we run the risk of creating attachment to something that has not manifested yet. The idea is to manifest our goals and not abandon them.

Goals are important, and being committed to our goals is  just as important. When we are attached to the outcome of our goals, we can put ourselves through a mental anguish; this can lead to paralysis by analysis, stress, anxiety, fatigue, and fear because we are so focused on making the "right decision." When this happens we tend to abandon our goals and they remain just a dream or fantasy.

Success is making a decision, taking action, and making adjustments to our course, leading us closer to our goal. That space between our goal and what we do today is where the magic happens, it is in that space where success exits. Our manifested goal is a state of being, it is the sum of all the successful decisions we made along our journey.

Measuring success with the decisions and actions that we take redirects our attachment. Being attached to taking action is what motivates our commitment; this is where we start getting results, and with these results we then, can make the necessary adjustments toward manifesting our goal. Don't confuse unfavorable results that we create along our journey as mistakes or failures. These results are just information, just like favorable results; taking this information and learning how to apply it moving forward is the magic.

In conclusion, releasing attachment to outcomes mitigates feelings of anxiety, stress, worry, and fear. The outcome is completely out of our control; however, taking action in the present moment is completely in our control. Measure success on actions taken during our journey toward achieving goals.

Success is in the journey not the destination.
