"Difficulties strengthen the mind, as labor does the body."
The mind is a very powerful force. We can sometimes feel completely trapped within the world around us, especially during times of difficulty. The reality is that we choose to be in the living state that we are in at this present moment. It is within our minds that we can re-frame how we view the world, ourselves, and circumstances.
One major step forward in re-framing our thought process is to have awareness of our current state of being. Do we view ourselves as "victim"of circumstance? Are we in a continuous loophole of "waiting" for change in order to make change? Are there thoughts reserved in the back of our minds of "I want to make change?" Are you ready to crack the old mold and break free of the anchors impeding your progress?
Focus on what you can control. You can control your thoughts, behaviors, how you respond to others, setting goals, taking action steps toward your goals etc. When you focus on what you can control, build a habit in this practice, you will begin to release your hold on the things you can't control. This shift in focus not only provides a space for you to breathe, but raises your energetic levels, allowing you to make great gains from a place of mental clarity. Focusing on what you can control is a major step in re-framing your mindset, in turn you will be re-framing your life.
How you view yourself is paramount in taking charge of your life. Redirect the running script in your mind with positive self affirmations. When you think with a fear-based thought process, you begin solidifying limiting beliefs about yourself. Limiting beliefs take shape in the form of "I'm not good enough, I'm to old for this, I'm not smart enough, I've worked to hard for this, I'm afraid of being judged," and the list can go on. This thought process is where individuals abandon goals, remain in toxic careers and relationships. Re-framing your self affirmation into a positive develops a powerful energy. For example, "I can do this, I am good enough, I will complete this," will reshape how you view yourself. This again, raises your energy to a space where you have the ability to see opportunity, acceptance, and the power of your driving force.
When you begin to change your mindset, you begin to change your life. The fact is the only moment we risk losing is the present moment; So, how do you want to show up in this amazing life?
